Online Communities


Mountain Movers Online Community group has been around since early 2017. That is almost 10 years. It has ebbed and flowed over the years with several names and long time memberships. Here in the last several months, I have strived to make it more interactive for christian people who may be homebound, elderly, or disabled and as well as those who struggle with mental health issues. Plus, as well...the classic introvert who does not get out much, and are in need of online Christian community and kindred connections on the internet.

Nothing is Wasted: One Community Church

Sunday morning, August 30, 2026, at One Community Church, the presence of the Living God who created us all, filled the atmosphere.  The moment Grace Roden—our youth pastor—began to sing, there was something in her voice that I hadn't heard from her before.  She sang with all her heart, and a powerful anointing rested upon her that instantly and actually shifted the entire atmosphere in the worship service…  When she delivered the words, "Nothing is wasted in the Father’s hands," tears sprang into my eyes.  I always know that God is moving and speaking when those tears roll from my eyes… Grace is a dedicated minister that constantly pours into others and ministers to us to the body of Christ, and on this morning, Jesus used her in a mighty way.  Through the Holy Spirit resting upon her, that anointing broke a long-time yoke that had been upon my life. Deep in Serve Mode

As you all are aware of, ​ I was going full throttle into being a Core Peer Support Specialist by next year.   So many doors were slammed in my face during this time, it was unreal! Yes, even from the very people I thought would support the most!  So several weeks ago now, after much  prayer and debate, I unplugged,  letting it all go.  “I forfeited getting certified.”  The next Monday at 2:00 am June 8th, I got a very unsuspecting call from my dad who will be 82 in August   I rushed him to the ER. He was in there for 5 days. He had a severe UTI and sepsis with rigors and delirium…the whole nine yards.  My dad is very blessed to be alive right now, if I had not got him to the hospital in time.   That hospital stay was utterly horrible experience for all of us, as well to see him suffer.
